The City's Common Council committees -- such as the Board of Zoning Appeals (BOZA), the Licenses committee, the Zoning, Neighborhoods, and Development (ZND) commitee, and ultimately the full Common Council -- make decisions that affect the life, and welfare of city neighborhoods. Public testimony is often solicited by these bodies as part of their decision-making process, from special zoning variances for new development sites to liquor licenses.
