Where are you going to park this winter? How can our city plow more streets to the curb? The aldermen who represent neighborhoods with some of our city’s most densely parked streets - Nik Kovac, Robert Bauman, Jim Witkowiak, and Tony Zielinski - have begun discussions with the Department of Public Works about how we can reform our winter parking rules and snow plowing operations. The goal of this reform is to get more residential streets plowed to the curb – on both sides! – as soon as possible following snowstorms. You are invited to join your elected representatives and the city officials who can implement reforms for a briefing on current procedures and possible changes, to be followed by a brainstorming session. Please bring your experiences with and suggestions for winter parking rules and snow plowing operations to: The Zeidler Municipal Building 841 N Broadway Room 102 Thursday, August 27th at 6:30pm
